Windows Endpoint Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Windows Endpoint Engineer for a leading enterprise organization. The Windows Endpoint Engineer role is a hybrid position in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Windows Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of enterprise endpoint technologies across Windows environments. An ideal candidate for the Windows Endpoint Engineer role is an experienced infrastructure professional with strong expertise in Windows endpoint engineering, Active Directory, VDI, and SCCM/MECM administration.

Responsibilities of the Windows Endpoint Engineer:

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise Windows endpoint solutions across physical and virtual environments.

• Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security configurations.

• Manage and optimize SCCM/MECM for software deployment, patch management, operating system imaging, and endpoint compliance.

• Support and enhance VDI environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and user experience.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to implement endpoint engineering best practices and automation initiatives.

Qualifications of the Windows Endpoint Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering and Windows infrastructure administration.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM/MECM.

• Experience supporting and maintaining VDI platforms such as VMware Horizon or Citrix.

• Knowledge of endpoint security, patch management, and enterprise device lifecycle management.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is highly preferred.

Compensation for the Windows Endpoint Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $100,000 – $135,000 depending on experience
