Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to support enhancements of medical record shareholdings in Columbia, MD. This role will partner with stakeholders and software development teams to gather requirements, write user stories, and help deliver healthcare technology solutions that improve patient care, public health outcomes, and the secure exchange of clinical information.
Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:
- Gather requirements and make sure the team knows what to build.
- Write user stories and define what success looks like.
- Run Scrum meetings and help plan teamwork.
- Remove roadblocks and escalate issues when needed.
- Keep projects on track and support releases.
Qualifications for the Business Analyst:
- 2-3+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Agile/Scrum experience in a fast-paced development environment
- Understanding of APIs and system integrations
- Experience managing multiple priorities and monthly release cycles
Compensation for the Business Analyst include:
-$90,000 - $105,000 annually *depending on experience*
