About the Opportunity

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the integration and implementation of automated warehouse solutions supporting a large-scale distribution and logistics environment. This role will focus on the successful delivery of projects involving SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), warehouse automation technologies, system integrations, and cross-functional operational teams.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in warehouse management systems, supply chain technology, and project leadership, with a proven ability to manage complex implementations from planning through go-live.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution for warehouse automation and SAP EWM initiatives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate implementation efforts involving automated material handling equipment, robotics, conveyor systems, and warehouse control systems.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, operations leaders, IT teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
• Drive SAP EWM integration activities, ensuring alignment between warehouse processes and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and executive-level communications.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support change management efforts to drive user adoption and operational readiness.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise technology or supply chain initiatives.
• Experience managing projects involving SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, and fulfillment processes.
• Experience coordinating complex system integrations across multiple teams and vendors.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing warehouse automation solutions, including ASRS, robotics, conveyor systems, sortation equipment, or warehouse control systems.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or other project management certifications.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA supply chain solutions.
• Background in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, consumer products, or distribution environments.
• Experience with change management and operational readiness planning.
