DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI with CI Poly)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer-IT / DevOps Engineer Stf (E4) - TS//SCI with CI Poly to Start to support a leading government consulting organization in Herndon, VA (with potential future work in Springfield, VA). This role will support the Hedgehog Program, which provides deployment and site support for DC-MLS® environments, HPC programs, and core infrastructure initiatives. The immediate focus will be supporting the stand-up of administrative and console networks in preparation for ATO activities.

Systems Engineer-IT / DevOps Engineer Stf (E4) - TS//SCI with CI Poly to Start Responsibilities:

• Support deployment, integration, and operational sustainment of Linux/Unix-based infrastructure for the Hedgehog Program.
• Develop and maintain DevOps automation solutions utilizing Python, Perl, Bash, KornShell, and configuration management tools.
• Manage source code repositories and CI/CD processes utilizing Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, SVN, and CVS.
• Stand up and support administrative and console networks to enable accreditation and ATO efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to streamline deployment and configuration management processes.

Systems Engineer-IT / DevOps Engineer Stf (E4) - TS//SCI with CI Poly to Start Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience supporting DevOps engineering, Linux/Unix systems administration, software development, and configuration management.
• Strong proficiency with Python, Perl, Bourne/Bash, KornShell, Ansible, and other scripting technologies.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, SVN, CVS, and revision control best practices.
• Active TS//SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph required to start.
• Security+ certification required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and maintain the required security clearance.

Systems Engineer-IT / DevOps Engineer Stf (E4) - TS//SCI with CI Poly to Start Compensation:

• $210,000 - $260,000 (depending on experience)
