Technical Business Development Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Development Specialist to support a company focused on national security technology partnerships, federal program development, and technology transfer initiatives within the defense, energy, and research sectors. This position is onsite in Albuquerque, NM. The Technical Business Development Specialist will support the development of strategic partnerships and programs by connecting government, industry, and research stakeholders to advance critical national security technologies. Responsibilities for the Business Development Specialist include:

• Implement stakeholder engagement and partnership strategies with federal agencies, defense organizations, research institutions, and industry partners
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives supporting national security programs and emerging technologies
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for customers and partners
• Analyze market conditions, customer requirements, technology trends, and national security priorities
• Lead technology transfer and collaboration initiatives that facilitate deployment of advanced national security systems

Required Qualifications for the Business Development Specialist include:

• 2-8+ years of experience in business development, marketing, customer engagement, partnership development, or related fields
• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, energy, life sciences, or other highly technical industries
• Strong communication, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills
• Ability to translate technical information into customer-focused business solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, International Relations, or a related discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

Compensation for the Business Development Specialist includes:

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
