Signal Integrity Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer for a growing client in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry in the United States. The Signal Integrity Engineer role is fully remote with the ability to travel internationally as needed. The Signal Integrity Engineer role is ideal for an experienced engineer with deep expertise in signal integrity analysis, SerDes technologies, and cross-functional collaboration with global manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities of the Signal Integrity Engineer include:

• Perform signal integrity analysis, channel characterization, and troubleshooting for high-speed interfaces and SerDes-based systems.

• Review laboratory and production test data to identify performance issues, determine root causes, and drive resolution efforts.

• Partner with hardware, validation, and manufacturing teams to optimize system performance and ensure signal integrity requirements are achieved.

• Develop recommendations and corrective actions based on technical findings to improve product reliability and quality.

• Collaborate with international factory teams across multiple time zones, including regular engagement with China-based engineering and manufacturing groups.

Requirements of the Signal Integrity Engineer include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Strong signal integrity (SI) experience with hands-on knowledge of SerDes technologies, channel analysis, and high-speed digital systems.

• Experience reviewing test results, diagnosing technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

• Ability to travel internationally and effectively collaborate with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation for the Signal Integrity Engineer include:

• $100,000 - $190,000 annually
