Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join an innovative organization within the electronic connectivity and data infrastructure industry for a fully remote permanent position. The Signal Integrity Engineer will support the development of next-generation interconnect solutions by performing electrical analysis, validation testing, and simulation work for products utilized in high-performance computing, AI, networking, and communications environments.


Responsibilities of the Signal Integrity Engineer include:

· Execute signal integrity simulations and electrical evaluations to optimize the performance of high-speed interconnect products.

· Develop and implement validation plans to support product releases, design enhancements, and customer-driven requirements.

· Create and utilize custom test boards, fixtures, and measurement setups to verify electrical characteristics and reliability.

· Partner with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to investigate technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.

· Analyze laboratory data and measurement results to support product improvements and maintain high standards of testing accuracy.


Qualifications for the Signal Integrity Engineer include:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.

· 3+ years of experience supporting high-speed digital systems, signal integrity analysis, or related electrical engineering disciplines.

· Experience operating electrical test and measurement equipment such as vector network analyzers (VNAs), time-domain reflectometers (TDRs), pattern generators, and similar instruments.

· Proficiency with industry-standard simulation and modeling software including HFSS, CST, ADS, HSPICE, MATLAB, or equivalent tools.

· Strong understanding of component characterization, transmission line behavior, electromagnetic fundamentals, and electrical measurement techniques.

· Experience with interconnect technologies, cable assemblies, connectors, PCB development, or communications hardware is highly desired.


Compensation for the Signal Integrity Engineer:

· Salary Range: $100,000 - $175,000
