Senior Frontend Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to support modernizing the SEC SEARCH platform. This individual will help bridge MCP server capabilities with the platform's user interface, transforming Excel-based workflows into scalable, intuitive web applications. The ideal candidate brings strong frontend development expertise, Python experience, and a passion for building data-driven applications in a collaborative remote environment. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive web interfaces for the SEARCH platform.
• Design and implement intuitive user experiences to replace existing Excel-based workflows.
• Integrate frontend applications with FastAPI backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build data visualization components for financial positions, equity data, and other data-intensive use cases.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers on API design, integration, and application architecture.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and optimal application performance.
• Contribute across both MCP and SEARCH platform components as business needs require.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in Python, including command-line or advanced development experience.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Understanding of RESTful API integration and frontend-to-backend communication.
• Experience building data-heavy web applications and user interfaces.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and modern frontend best practices.
• Ability to contribute across the full stack when needed.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with financial data visualization preferred.
• Knowledge of Python web frameworks preferred.
• Familiarity with data grid and spreadsheet-style UI components preferred.

Compensation:

Salary: $150,000 - $165,000 annually, depending on experience
